I remember playing against those teams that are mentioned when I was learning the game batting from the right side & boy was the rough. Playing for Jimmy Quiroz & my dad the late Rudy Cody & the San Bernardino Royals we didn’t have the talent that those teams had but it pointed me in the right direction in the game as I switched side of the plate and became a slapper and became a better player and had a lot of success playing for the Riverside Angels. 87-92

Those were some great times of fastpitch in the Inland Empire Tony. The San Berdoo and Riverside and Ontario and Beaumont / Banning and Yucaipa and Palm Springs and Fontana and Lake Elsinore and the Indian teams had some good ball players that didn’t get the recognition the “big boys” got, but they could give them a battle in the leagues and tournaments in our area.

Great area for men’s fastpitch “back in the day” Vince, and all the teams and areas you mentioned had outstanding teams.
