STEVENS, Penn. – Jonathan Lynch was perfect at the plate, B.J. Runoff dominated in the circle, and Team USA cruised to a 16-0 victory over Kelly’s in the second-round of the Rodney Fox Memorial Men’s Fastpitch Tournament in Stevens, Saturday morning.

Batting in the two slot, Lynch went 4-for-4 with three doubles to highlight a 16-hit attack that also featured home runs by Pat Sagdal, Jeff Nowaczyk and Cameron Shiller.

As in the first game, Team USA put six runs on the board in the first inning, added three more in the second, and broke lose for seven in the third to end the game under the mercy rule.

Hunhoff from Harrisburg, South Dakota, continued the national team’s shutout pitching with a no-hitter and four strikeouts in four innings. His only blemish was a walk to Welch in the second inning.

Nowaczk, batting in eighth spot and catching, homered in the first inning along with Schiller to lead the hitting barrage. And Sagdal homered to lead off the seventh, and Nick Mullins had a huge game by driving in three runs.
