NAFA AA-Major teams in ISC II “Final Four”

Written by Bob on August 15th, 2013

MOLINE, ILL – The ISC II final-four has been determined and two of the four teams left in the running for the championship played in the NAFA AA-Major World Series last week: The San Mateo Cal-State Builders, and the Topeka, Kansas Toros.

The Builders (6-3) who finished fifth in the AA-Major in Des Moines, take on the Wiarton, Ontario Nationals at 10 a.m. with the winner advancing to meet the Toros (5-3) at noon. The Toros finished out of the top five in the AA-Major.

San Mateo Cal-State Builders pitcher Kevin Kammueller is shouldering the pitching duties in the ISC II Championship tournament in Moline, Ill.

Builders pitcher and Minnesotan, Kevin Kammueller, is having a great tournament with a 5-1 record. The result of Cal-State’s latest win, 6-1, over the Halifax NS Pepperjacks Wednesday night hasn’t been recorded yet, and Kammueller may have pitched that game, too.

The winner of the noon game will meet the Midland, Mich. Emerson Aces (6-2) in the 4 p.m. championship game. So there’s a good possibility that a NAFA team will be in the final.

The championship will be broadcast by video free, courtesy of Thunder Tribe Energy Shot.
