MOLINE, IL – Melvin Batista fired a six-hitter and Isaac Nanez blasted a three-run home run to lead the Pueblo Bandits to a 3-2 victory over Ostrander (MN) Fastpitch in the opening game of the ISC World Tournament, Saturday, at Green Valley Sports Complex in Moline.

Mexico wins extra innings battle with USA in IX Pan Am games

PARANA, ARGENTINA – Tony Mancha allowed one earned run on three hits, with 18 strikeouts in 10 innings, but his performance wasn’t quite good enough.

Mexico’s Eduardo Escobedo matched Mancha nearly pitch-for-pitch, finishing with an 11-inning four hitter and 11 strikeouts in leading Mexico to a 2-1 victory in the opening game of the IX Pan American games in Parana, Argentina on Friday.
