YUCAIPA, CA – The Fontana Steelers girl’s tennis team lost a 10-8 decision to the Yucaipa Thunderbirds, but the Steelers played well. Under the leadership of six-year Head Coach, Liz Molina, the Steelers have a 4-4 record in league play.

And any girl that tries out for her team, maintains good grades, and has model citizenship has earned a place with the Steelers.

“I have a ‘no cut’ program,” Molina said. “We have 45 girls and if they can be doing something positive for themselves and our school, that’s great. I require that they keep their grades up and stay out of trouble. Playing on the team also helps them make new friends.”

What an inspiring coach, Molina is.
