37th Annual Rice Lake Invitational Men’s Fastpitch Tournament

RICE LAKE, Wisc. – For 36 years Rice Lake has hosted a men’s fastpitch tournament. And 2015 promises the tournament to be just as popular and competitive as those past wonderful years. Here’s the details.

Team Classification: NAFA eligible divisions: AA, A-Major and A
The Dates: June 19-21
Format: NAFA, three-game guarantee
Entry Fee: $210 payable to Rice Lake Orangemen Fastpitch
(Send separate check for $35 to Wisconsin NAFA if year 2015 NAFA team registration is desired. This is not required for invitational entry.)

Rosters:Teams must list a maximum of 18 players on their roster. Rosters MUST be completely filled out and MUST be submitted with the tournament entry fee for a team to be accepted.

Awards:

  • 1st $600 sponsor’s expense money plus trophy
  • 2nd $450 sponsor’s expense money plus trophy
  • 3rd $300 sponsor’s expense money plus trophy
  • 4th $150 sponsor’s expense money plus trophy
  • Individual Awards: Trophies for MVP and All-Tournament team selections

    YUCAIPA, Calif. – I’ve sent my magazine entitled, 2014 NAFA World Series, to the publisher, but waiting for a hard copy to finish the final edit before releasing for purchase.

    The magazine’s 112 pages contain dozens of photos, championship game stories and results (AA-Major, AA, A-Major, A, 23-Under, Wood Bat, and Masters East and West), feature stories, NAFA Hall of Fame stories, and a look at past World Series feats & stats of some of the games biggest stars.

    Wilber and Bol’s take Wisconsin NAFA state titles

    MIDDLETON, Wisc. – Sixteen teams took to the ball diamonds at the Bowling Green Recreation Center in Middleton last weekend and when the last out was made, Wilber Lime of Galesville emerged as the NAFA AA / AA-Major Division champion, while Bol’s Lanes of Baldwin took the A / A-Major Division crown in the Henry St. Claire NAFA Wisconsin State Championship on Sunday.

    2013 Wisconsin NAFA state tournament honors beloved umpire

    MIDDLETON, WISC – Henry St. Clair passed away on Sept. 26, 2011, but he has not been forgotten. Revered for his umpire skills and knowledge along with his positive zest for life, St. Clair was inducted into the North American Fastpitch Association (NAFA) Hall of Fame in 2007.

    And in honor of St. Clair’s dedication to NAFA, the organization’s vice presidents Loren Lathrop and Ronn Kopp host a tournament in his honor:

    RICE LAKE, WISC – The the Rice Lake Invitational Men’s Fastpitch Tournament will celebrate its 35th year with a 12-team invitational tournament on June 14-16 at Tate and Clanton Parks in Rice Lake, Wisc.

    THE DETAILS

  • Team Classifications: NAFA “AA,” “A-Major,” and “A”
  • Tournament Size: 12 Teams (The first 12 to submit complete entries, including roster)
  • Tournament Format: NAFA 3-game guarantee
  • Entry Fee: $200 payable to Rice Lake Orangemen Fastpitch
  • Please Note: Send separate check for $35 to “Wisconsin NAFA” if year 2013 NAFA team registration is desired. This is not required for Invitational entry.

    MIDDLETON, WI – The Hank St. Clair Memorial Fastpitch Tournament will be held July 28 – 29 at the Bowling Green Recreation Center in Middleton.

    The tournament will include four divisions: NAFA A and A-Major, and NAFA AA and AA-Major.

    NAFA “A” and “A-Major”:
    8 teams (4 games guarantee)
    • Pool play Saturday, each team to play 3 games, $25 paid for each win
    • Single elimination tournament Sunday, $200 award to champion and $150 to runner-up
    Entry fee: $200

    NAFA “AA” and “AA-Major”:
    4 teams (3 games guarantee)
    • Round robin play Saturday only, each team to play 3 games, no playoff, no awards
    Entry fee: $125

    WHEN: June 15-17, 2012

    WHERE: Tate and Clanton Parks, Rice Lake WI

    WHO: Team Classifications: NAFA “AA,” “A-Major,” and “A”

    HOW MANY TEAMS: Tournament Size: 16 Teams (The first 16 to submit complete entries, including roster)

    TOURNAMENT FORMAT: NAFA 3-game guarantee

    COST: Entry fee is $200 payable to Rice Lake Orangemen Fastpitch (Send separate check for $35 to “Wisconsin NAFA” if year 2012 NAFA team registration is desired. This is not required for Invitational entry.)
