Men’s fastpitch teams, don’t miss the NAFA WoodBat National Tournament

ANADARKO, OK – 2011 marks the sixth year of the NAFA WoodBat National Tournament. The tournament runs from Aug. 27 to 28 and is open to 24 teams and will be held in Anadarko, Okla.

Anadarko is about 62 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.

“This is our first time in the state of Oklahoma and we are very excited about it,” said Dave Parker, NAFA WoodBat Director. “We are trying to break that 16-team mark this year and can only handle 24 teams with our complex in Anadarko.

“We are very excited about the future of WoodBat as we now have had Illinois and Texas host state WoodBat Tournaments this summer. This is very exciting for the NAFA WoodBat Organization.”

The tournament includes a three-game guarantee, and the tournament is close to 16 teams right now from Colorado, Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma, Parker added.

Tournament Awards:
* Full awards package of trophies through fifth place
* All-American and Most Valuable Player / Pitcher awards
* Custom fastpitch / fastball attire

“We are also giving custom uniform tops for the National Champions,” Parker said, “as well as custom pullovers for the National Runner-ups.”
