10th Annual Preston Merchants Men’s Fastpitch Tournament

PRESTON, Minn. – The 10th Annual Preston Merchants Men’s Fastpitch Tournament still has openings in its 14-team double elimination tournament, July 26-27.

The entry fee is only $225, and the traveling expense payoff (based on 14 entries) is substantial:

  • 1st place – $500
  • 2nd place – $350
  • 3rd place – $200
  • 4th place – $100

    PRESTON, Minn. – Southeastern Minnesota continues its excellence in men’s fastpitch with the hosting of the Ninth Annual Preston Men’s Fastpitch Tournament by the Preston Merchants.

    PRESTON, MINN – The 9th Annual Preston Men’s Fast Pitch Tournament will be held on July 27-28 and hosted by the Preston Merchants Fast Pitch Team.

    We know it’s pretty early for some of you to commit, but if you can just let us know of your intention to consider playing in our tournament, we will get you on our list. That way you’ll be sure to get more information when we send it out.

    And if you know of a team that would be a good fit for our tournament, please feel free to pass on this invitation.

      TOURNAMENT BASICS:
  • When: July 27-28

    Eighth annual Preston (MN) Fastpitch Tournament

    PRESTON, MN – Preston, Minnesota is located in the southeastern part of the state; about 36 miles southeast of Rochester. Preston is central to one of the remaining hotspots of men’s fastpitch left in Minnesota.

    The Scheevel family – Lynn and Barbara, and their sons Ryan and Brett – are an integral part of the Preston Merchants men’s fastpitch team, the 2010 Minnesota ASA Class C state champions. And they along with a host of dedicated volunteers, are doing their utmost in promoting the sport by hosting an annual tournament.

    Dubbed the Preston Fastpitch Tournament, the popular event is now in its eighth year.

    The tournament will be held July 28-29. If you’re in the area, plan on attending. Great fastpitch fun to be had for players, teams and fans alike.

    Minnesota state fastpitch notes:

    The Preston Seventh Annual Men’s Fastpitch tournament promises great action just like in 2010.

    Seventh Annual Preston Men’s Fastpitch Tournament: Take notice of the low cost entry fee and the corresponding payouts for the top four finishers. And this is a well-run, competitive tournament (site editor, Bob Otto).
