DEKALB, IL – Tom Crouch has certainly made his mark in NAFA World Series play. For example – and this is a huge example – he may go down in NAFA history as the only player to be selected All-World in the Open, AAA, and AA-Major divisions of World Series championships.

Shaw Chiropractic wins NAFA AA World Series

ROCKFORD, IL – The Shaw Chiropractic men’s fastpitch softball team battled back through the losers bracket to capture the North American Fastpitch Association AA World Series Championionship Sunday evening (Aug. 14).

Shaw defeated Wilber Line out of Wisconsin 11-8 and 10-5 to win the 16-team four-day tournament.

Shaw Chiropractic and Memphis Firebirds rule the day in NAFA World Series

ROCKFORD, IL – Congratulations to A-Major World Series champions, the Memphis Tennessee Firebirds, and the AA champion Shaw Chiropractic. In the A-Major, it was a great game tied 2-2 in sixth, then Blues Fastpitch from Michigan ran out of gas and Memphis won in bottom of sixth on run rule.

(Men’s Fastpitch) Softball: Shaw Chiropractic opens World Series with 9-2 victory

ROCKFORD, IL – The Shaw Chiropractic men’s fastpitch softball team got off to a great start Thursday at the North American Fastpitch Association AA World Series.

Behind a hit and home run from Scott Nichols, Greg Fowler and Mike Hoadley, Shaw mercied JP’s of Nebraska 9-2 in five innings.

Hoadley’s two-run blast ended the game.

“We hit pretty good and pretty much everyone contributed,” Shaw Chiropractic coach Kurt Schieman said. “We don’t have a lot of arms right now so we need to stay in the winner’s bracket. Continue

(Men’s Fastpitch) Softball: Shaw Chiropractic advances to semifinals

ROCKFORD, IL – Shaw Chiropractic won by mercy for the second straight day Friday, advancing to the winner’s bracket semifinals at the North American Fastpitch Association AA World Series.

Shaw defeated (JP’s, NE) 9-2 and Black and Gold (MO) 8-1 in six innings, and will play at 3 p.m. today against Keating Fitness, Wilkes Barre, PA, last year’s (World Series) AA champion.

“Keating’s deep in pitching — they’ve got four good hurlers,” Shaw coach Kurt Schieman said. “I expect this to be a 3-2 or 4-3 game. Continue
