WEST DES MOINES, DES MOINES, IA – Kyle Koterba has hit three home runs on the season, but the third one in the semi-finals of the NAFA “A” World Series Tournament is by far the sweetest, timeliest, and one he’ll long remember.

Koterba came up to bat in the top of the eighth inning in a 5-5 deadlock with Fort Collins (CO) with two runners aboard and belted a drive deep over the left field fence to give the Bullets an 8-5 lead and the win.

“This was my biggest home run,” said Koterba. “I got a pitch straight down the middle like it was on a (batting) tee. If I didn’t hit that one out it would have been a problem.”
