TOPEKA, KS – Join us for the 20th Anniversary of the North American Fastpitch Association’s World Series in Topeka from Aug. 11 to 19 in which six divisions (A, A-Major, AA, AA-Major, and ages 19-Under and 23-Under) will battle for World Series championships.

MISSOURI AND KANSAS, STRONG IN YOUNG MEN’S FASTPITCH
Our two very special developmental program events, the 19-Under (Aug. 11-12) and the 23-Under (Aug. 17-19) with late Friday night starts, look to have a great turnout as Kansas and Missouri have large high school boys’ fastpitch programs to build on.

We would like teams that are coming to the world series to allow their younger players to play on both their regular men’s team and in our youth program as we work very hard to make sure that the times don’t conflict.

AGE 19 AND 23 ELIGIBILITY
The age eligibility rule: If you are age 23 on any day in 2012, then you are eligible. And the same rule applies for the 19-U division – if your are 19 on any day in 2012 you are eligible.

This makes a lot of players that turned 24 and 20 in 2012 STILL eligible if they were 23 or 19 on January 1st, 2012. So please keep that in mind.

Is fastpitch softball popular with young men and boys? The smiles on the faces of 2010 NAFA World Series, All-World age 23-under players from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, and Sand Prairie Construction of Sand Prairie, Wisc. says it definitely is.

NO TEAM? JOIN THE FREE AGENTS
Two free agent teams will be formed in both the 19-Under division and in the 23-Under division due to a large number of individuals that have contacted us recently.

You can email us as an individual and we will place you on a team. The individual player cost is $25.

A team can enter with the team entry fee of $250 for the 19U and 23U divisions; those divisions are subsidized by a sponsor, resulting in a reduced entry fee.

To Coaches that are scheduled to come: please email us to confirm that your team is coming and mail us your entry form and entry fee.(See addresses below.)

To individual players: email us and we will place you on a team.
